The Way of the Master Basic Training Course

Introduction:

I am a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Chester, NH.

In 2006, I was given the privilege and honor to lead an Evangelism class from The Way of the Master ministry. The class is called the Basic Training Course. You can learn more about this class at: http://www.wayofthemaster.com/btc/.

I am making available my notes and other files that may be valuable here, so that anyone can download them.

My prayer is that Christians will be edified and equipped to fulfill our purpose: to be used by God to seek and save that which is lost.

Session #1: Cultivating Compassion for the Lost:

Lession 1 Letter to God: The students were asked to write out a "letter to God" expressing their fears and hopes for this class. These were sealed in envelopes and given to the instructor, but they are confidential. No one will read them. At the end of 8 sessions, the letters will be handed back to the students so they can see how God answered their prayers!

How To Witness to 4 Types of People: Listen to Bible teacher Ray Comfort teach you how to witness to 4 different types of people. In his characteristic wit and humor, Comfort will make the case that you don't need to memorize facts about each cult or religion, but Biblically use the Law of God to bring about conviction of sin. Please note: The Way of the Master has generously given me permission to make copies of the DVD lessons to loan to people who are taking the class, but had to miss a certain session, and want to watch the video at home. The agreement is that the DVD will come back to me when you're done. This saves our church from having to purchase additional copies for this purpose! Please let me know if you would like to borrow a copied DVD!
